The Casa del Cinema has allocated a place for meeting and discussions. The Kodak area is equipped for maxi-screen video projections and houses conventions, debates and book presentations. There are also two exhibition halls dedicated to two famous art directors, Sergio Amidei and Cesare Zavattini; a shopping centre focusing on DVD's, a bookshop with special attention on cinema and theatre and a pleasant cafe/restaurant called the Cinecaffè Casina delle Rose.

The daily programmes cover fixed weekly events: projections of films and documentaries, meeting film directors, art directors and actors, homage to important figures of the cinema and "cinema lessons" with some of the major personages in the movie picture world. The Casa del Cinema di Roma is a structure supported by the Assessorato alle Politiche Culturali e Centro Storico di Roma Capitale with the collaboration of the Assessorato alla Cultura, Arte e Sport della Regione Lazio e le Banche Tesoriere di Roma Capitale: BNL BNP Paribas, UniCredit, Monte dei Paschi di Siena for the artistic direction of Caterina d'Amico and Zètema Progetto Cultura for the management.

Both public and private bodies have combined in offering a unique complex for the film and audiovisual industry operators as well as film lovers.
